Disney Plus service is gaining its traction with 50 million paying subscribers as of April 2020. Disney+ focuses on “family-oriented entertainment”.
It’s Wiki page says, “It is expected that Disney+ will have approximately 7,000 television episodes and 500 films”.
I have mentioned in the end of this post about gifting of Disney+ subscription for a friend. So, don’t miss that too!
With that said, let us dive into list of some of shows and movies currently it has and to expect in near future.
Movies to enjoy now
Disney published a YouTube video where it listed each title that will appear on the service. It includes Frozen 2 and Onward. Each title is accompanied by a 15-second clip.
It also includes some of lesser-known Disney movies we might of missed to enjoy when it were originally released.
The ‘90s were dominated by Disney Animation and Pixar titles, including The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Toy Story.

Coming later in 2020
“Artemis Fowl” can be expected this year. Artemis Fowl, a 12-year-old genius finds himself in an epic battle against a race of powerful underground fairies who may be behind his father’s disappearance.
The movie is based out of “Artemis Fowl II”, a series which received positive reception and generated huge sales.

In late 2020 we’ll get to see The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision first TV shows. Disney bought Star Wars back in 2012 and now Disney has the rights to the entire library of Star Wars movies.
