Routines are the key to your day starting off and ending the right way. Let’s talk about how to design your perfect morning and evening routine for a happier you.

So with that in mind, I hope this post will offer a balanced view of keeping up routines for a simple and elagant living.

I have a morning self-care routine that I do every day and it makes such a difference.
In today’s post, I am going to be sharing the morning and evening routines that has completely changed my life.

I will be covering more of habits, morning routines and finally routines for evening too. So there you have it!

Habit

We need to talk for a second.

People spend so much time in front of the screen. Start working on developing healthy habits, it’s never too late to turn your life around. The effect that physical health has on mental health is huge.

Start with walking out of your room. Do something good for your body every day, whether it’s walking, going to the gym, swimming. And when you choose to be inside, be best at it. Reading, learning new things is definitely one of the best investments we could make, especially in a world that is changing at such a rapid pace.

For outdoors: Develop a habit of being more active. Daily exercises are one of the best aids in the battle against anxiety and depression. Plus you will be getting the benefits will be much greater than just toned muscles.

Get in touch with nature more often. Start working on developing healthy habits, it’s never too late to turn your life around. This is probably a sign it’s time to design better routines.

By establishing routines, you live your life more intentionally and straight forward. No confusions at all! You make a intentional decision to choose how you want to spend your time based on what’s more important to you.

To make a best routine, on a blank sheet of paper write down what your current morning and evening routines look like, even if you don’t think you have routines, you do. What do you do most often in the mornings and evenings?

Put a star next the parts of your routine you enjoy. It’s completely up to you to define what this is for you. It’s important to decide how you want to spend your time during your morning and evening routine.

Morning routine

Your morning routine is what you do from the minute you wake up for the day. I hope now you have your morning routine written on your paper that we discussed a little before.

What you choose to do for your morning routine sets the tone for your entire day. Ask yourself if you are an active person or someone who lay around the house doing nothing.

If you don’t intentionally spending your time in the morning, you’re likely not spending any time on yourself or working towards your goals. There are apps available on iPhone app store to keep track of habits and goals.

Let’s accept it. Mornings are the best time of the day to work on something for you. It’s time before the day really begins. There’s no chance of chaos from your day to prevent you from having this time.

You should be actively deciding what’s most important to you right now and how you want to spend that time.

Evening routine

Having a productive evening can set you up for success to do your morning routine. Having an evening routine is not so that I can have a super structured day, rather to live life and day more than the normal.

If you’ve tried a morning routine and it didn’t work for you, give the evening routine a try. Invest time and energy with all the things and people that are important.

Give it a go and create an evening routine to do what really matters to you, but remember that it isn’t important to stay on schedule. Your evening routine is everything you do from the minute your work day ends to the minute you go to sleep.

When you go to bed without setting your intentions for the next day, you’re not giving your life direction. You end up living your life by reacting to it rather than being proactive.

Here are some useful activities you can try this evening for sure:

  • Do something to stimulate your creativity
  • Recall and reflect on your day
  • Work on your hobby
  • Write 3 things you’d like to accomplish for tomorrow
  • Eat a healthy dinner
  • Stop using your phone 1 hour before bed
  • Listen to soothing music
  • Take some calm to help you relax and have a good night sleep

It keeps you laser focused on your most important tasks in priority order. It helps you assess how well you’re doing with time management. Also, it is good for those who get overwhelmed easily with to do lists.

Start creating an outline now. Just start by knowing what your ideal routines look like, write a basic outline of your morning and evening routine. Look back at your current routines list and be sure to add those items with a star next to them.

Having a plan will help you stay on track.

Once your outlines are complete, start implementing them into your life. Don’t give yourself an escape route to slack off and not follow your plan. Going all in is the best way to get going and figure out if your routines work for you.
